Christmas Stuff....

Here are some pictures of things we have done so far this Christmas season. It ranges from watching the city turn on its lights, making gingerbread "trains" (with our family scrooge) to a very tiring Christmas concert weekend. Thank you to the boys for making the church concert one to remember :)

SNOW!!!!

Of course the first major snowfall of the year happens when Curtis is out of town. So, that left Hope and I to get to work and shovel the snow ourselves!! Hope and Dudley LOVED it. I think Curtis is probably in a panic for his VW van was sitting out in the snow. But, his wife came to the rescue and moved it under the carport for him (I think I deserve something for that!). Also, just for Kyle, Hope finally put the ladybug costume on.

Pumpkin Carnival

Hope and I went to the church fun night on Halloween so we could get some candy!! Hope loved fishing and bowling, especially when the end result is a handful of candy. We refused to leave the cake walk until we won, it took us a LONG time but we got some cupcakes finally. We missed Curtis and Micah though :(

Buddy Field Trip

Micah's class had a field trip with my grade 6's to the Willmann farm. Micah had TONS of fun that Curtis and I never even saw him (too busy playing with his big buddy!!) Hope was cold but loved the horse!!!

Playing by the River

Monica and I took the kids to Fort George Park, possibly the last time, and the kids decided to go play by the river. They had tons of fun throwing rocks, climbing and slidding down the hill.

The kids had fun playing in the puddles and climbing the trees while I froze outside watching!!! I wanted to put my winter jacket on but could not bring myself to do it (way too early!!).

Off to Kindergarten...

Our little boy went off the kindergarten today...where does the time go? One goes through so many mixed feelings when this day comes but we are excited to see what God has in store for our son.

What is all over your face???

I found our little trouble-maker one morning with her whole face in a pile of sugar. She thought it would be fun to dump the whole bag on the floor and try to eat it like a puppy. What are we going to do with this one????

Pictures with Uncle Kyle...

Uncle Kyle came for a visit and we enjoyed having him here. The best news is that Hope finally warmed up to him and even gave him hugs and kisses!!!! We went for a walk to Shane Lake and was able to snag some pictures of him and the kids.

Visiting Uncle Kyle

The first stop of our vacation was to visit Kyle in Red Deer and it was tons of fun. We would have to say the highlight was Micah going to the fire station. He is ready to be a firefighter like his uncle!!!!!

VBS Week

We had a rip roaring week at the church with VBS. Micah had tons of fun doing crafts, eating snacks, learning new Bible stories, and of course playing tons of games with his friends. I think we are more worn out from the week than he is.

I finally got Curtis to take me somewhere with him.

I could watch 12 Dancing Princesses ALL DAY!!

12 Dancing Princesses

Our little Princess has developed an obsession with the Barbie movie "12 Dancing Princesses." She is driving her poor mom crazy with the movie. Throughout the day Curtis and I find ourselves humming the music and the minute we do Hope starts to dance to it. I think it is time to try to wean her from it :)

Kindergarten is coming.

Good thing Hope is not going because she looks bored all ready.
