Well Dad, after much calling in frustration that nothing is growing or that I have no patience I have been able to have lettuce, tomato (just one so far), and one strawberry. I actually made a salad with lettuce and the tomato and did not share with Curtis, he was okay with that :)
So, the garden is coming slowly and I am exited to do things a bit different for next year. I will be calling you soon Dad about what to do with my pumpkins (which are actually growing) and peas.

What a Weekend
Waiting for the tug of war to start
Micah did not hop he ran with the potato sack, cleaver kid!
Hope just liked going for the snacks at the track meet
Micah doing shot put
His 3rd place ribbon for 100m
We had a busy weekend!! The kids and I spent most of it at the track for Micah had his first track meet. Lots of waiting around for his events but the nice part was the coaches looked after the kids. Micah tried his best and that is all we wanted. He got 3rd in the 100m, 1st in shot put, and 2nd in the 60m. We did not stay for all of the events for we also had our Sunday School picnic. The kids had fun, especially Micah. The highlight again this year was the water balloon fight.
Only one week of school left which is hard to believe. It feels like we just started the year and now it is the end. I really enjoyed my class this year so it will be sad to see them leave, it always is. I am ready for a break but the summer will go by fast and then it is right back at it. I am just going to enjoy not driving to Cedars everyday!!

Finished!!
Pam and I completed our half marathon on the weekend. Pam's mom's friend made us stop to take a picture when we were heading home so that is why we look so tired in the picture above. It was pretty funny!!! The weather was prefect for the run for it was warm but not to hot that it zapped your energy. I felt great throughout the run, which was nice. I am pretty excited to do a full marathon in the fall.

Happy 4th Birthday Hope!!
It feels like we have been celebrating Hope's birthday for a month now. One of her gifts from us was a date with Mommy where we went for supper and then shopping for a new dress and shoes. I have to say my daughter knows what she wants!! Once she saw the dress above there was no talking her out of it or her shoes.
On Monday, we had her birthday party with her friends and then went to Boston Pizza for supper.
Hope is such a little girl and is stretching me out of my comfort zone is so many ways. We went grocery shopping and she saw this bright pink nail polish. So, we painted her toes and fingernails then she insisted that I paint mine (which I NEVER do). I met her half way and just did my toes. It is going to take some getting use to having such a princess in the house :)

I finally got Curtis to take me somewhere with him.
What are you doing Hope?
Dancing Princess
12 Dancing Princesses
Our little Princess has developed an obsession with the Barbie movie "12 Dancing Princesses." She is driving her poor mom crazy with the movie. Throughout the day Curtis and I find ourselves humming the music and the minute we do Hope starts to dance to it. I think it is time to try to wean her from it :)
