J BIEB'S IN THE HOUSE!!

Thanks to our lovely niece, Amber, Hope has developed a wee bit of a crush on Justin Bieber. She likes to talk about him lots and lots :) So for Christmas some dear friends decided to buy Hope a poster and doll and let's just say she was pretty excited when she opened them up. Now the real question is, who is the biggest fan in our family, Amber, Hope, or Uncle Kyle??

Tank's New-Do

Well, we always wanted to know what Tank looked like under all of his fur and now we know. Yesterday he was Tank "furball" Reimer and today....I have no idea what to call him. When we went to pick him up from the appointment, Micah told the lady that she had the wrong dog :)
On a side note, Tank took such good care of our sick little girl yesterday, he stayed with her in bed all day.

Christmas 2010

Christmas was low key and quiet, which was nice. The kids were up bright and early ready to open up their gifts and they loved them all. We are now experiencing the exhaustion that occurs the day after Christmas :)

Brer Donkey in Action

CHBC Christmas Play

The church play was excellent, as always. Everyone did a wonderful job sharing the message of Christ's birth. Micah had a pretty big part in the play, as he was Brer Donkey (I know...what does Brer Donkey have to do with Christmas...it is to difficult to explain, sorry). Hope sang, "We wish you a blessed Christmas" with her Sunday School class. Even though the play went well I am sure glad it is over. Now we can enjoy a quiet Christmas break and take time to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas.

Cedars Christmas Musical

Micah and Hope had their school musical last week (yes I am slow at posting the pictures, Dad). They both did a really good job. I was helping the intermediate students with their musical so I was unable to get pictures at the concert but I made them pose before we left, much to Micah's delight :)

Tank (aka The Troublemaker)

Well, Tank has been stirring up TONS of trouble lately. A couple of days ago, he was so bad we gave him the "ponytail of shame." Then this morning, as I was cleaning up breakfast, I found him on the table licking out the whip cream bowl. What a dog!!!

Fluffy and Rex

Micah and Hope went to the mall with their friends to go trick or treating. Micah, of course, went as a Star Wars character and all Hope wanted to be was a puppy. Micah was on a mission to try to hit every store that was giving out candy while Hope was in a daze the whole time. Hope was really excited when she saw her Big Buddy from school at the mall trick or treating as well. After the mall we headed off to the church for the Pumpkin Carnival to get even more candy. Now all Curtis and I will hear for the next while is, "Can I have a candy?"

Wiener Roast

We decided to have a wiener roast one cold and dreary night while Kyle was in town. Kyle made his beans recipe, which he still owes me $5 for his dare :) Thanks for a great visit, Kyle. From the crib champ!!

A lady in our church gave Curtis a tent that can be attached to a VW van. So, Curtis and Kyle spent about a half hour trying to figure out how to set it up. It should be interesting when Curtis and I have to do it :)

WOW!!

I cannot believe the size of my pumpkin this year!! I guess that is why it was taking over my garden :)

TANK

The kids and I finally broke Curtis and bought a puppy...yup a puppy. We all fell in love with this little guy. He is a 4 month bishon frise/havanese. Hope thought we should give him the name Tank. Dudley was hesitant at first but now they are buddies. They just have to figure out how to play with each other without Dudley knocking him over or off the stairs.

Family Volkswagen Trip

We all piled into the bus and headed out to the Drive-In to watch Toy Story 3. I was just happy that the bus made it without breaking down :)

Cultus Lake

The kids and I went to visit Grandma and Grandpa Cornfield in Cultus Lake and had tons of fun. We lounged at the lake in 35 degree weather, played mini-golf (Hope won a free game and was very pleased with herself), go-carted, and of course ventured out to the water-slides. Thanks for the great visit Mom and Dad!
