Today was a crazy but fun day. First we had church then the Sunday School picnic at Fort George Park and then we had the last day of soccer until the fall and to top it all of we went to pick up Uncle Kyle at the airport, Whew. I am tired just writing it all down. We had a wonderful day, however, Micah hurt himself on the bouncy house at soccer so he could not even play on the last day :(
The last picture is not of the day. Ethan slept over and the kids were watching Ant Bully and had to have the Webkinz watch as well. What well loved animals!!Sunday, June 22, 2008

Haircut Day
Today was haircut day!! First, Hope and I went to Cedars to watch the students shave their heads for a student who was receintly diagnosed with luekemia. In about 2 weeks they raised over $9000, WOW!! Hope could not believe Rosie was shaving her head and just kept saying her hair was "Crazy". Our friend and hairdresser was shaving heads at the school so when we went for haircuts after Hope was a wee bit aprehensive. She did not want that type of haircut so their were a few tears but she is really happy with it and loves showing it off! As long as she can still have princess hair she is happy :)

Happy 3rd Birthday Hope!!
Well, our Hope has officially turned 3 and we had a little party to celebrate. What a day it was, I (Sue) ran a half marathon in the morning and then had to get ready for a WILD party after. So, I can say that I was a wee bit tired once the day was all finished. Curtis celebrated 10 years at our church on that day as well. We have a lot to thank God for and we feel so blessed to have such great friends here in P.G. Hope had a great party and Micah resisted the urge to bug all of the girls, way to go Micah!! We thank God for our kids and that He has given us this time with them. We are excited to see what the Lord has in store for our family in the future.

Character Day
It was Character Day at Cedars and Micah went as a dinosaur from one of his books. There was a whole school parade before lunch and it was a lot of fun to watch all the students dressed up. After Hope and I went home she felt she needed to dress up as well into what else but her princess dress. Grandma and Grandpa Cornfield's package for the kids came at the perfect time. We got home opened the parcel and Hope's gift was a dress-up princess kit that goes perfectly with her dress!!! She even had a nap in her outfit because she did not want to take it off, what a girl!! Micah received a drawing kit that he loves!!! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa you did good :)

Christmas Pictures
We had a nice and relaxing Christmas. The kids loved all of their gifts, especially their new pj's, thanks to Grandma and Grandpa C and Great-Grandma C. Hope was overwhelmed with all of her new princess stuff and is starting to develop a wee bit of a princess attitude :) Micah enjoyed all of his gifts. His personal favorites were the remote control dump truck and his Nintendo DS and Star Wars game (thanks Uncle Kyle!!).
The best part was that I did not have to cook Christmas dinner for the Dawson's did that for us and it was wonderful.
We were able to have all the Reimer's together for Christmas this year and it was awesome!! But, being the organized person I am I forgot my camera in PG. The four of did lots of fun things in Calgary. The kids did build a bear, saw the Calgary Flames practice (obviously Curtis's highlight), went to the zoo and it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. It was a well timed vacation that we all needed!!

12 Dancing Princesses
Our little Princess has developed an obsession with the Barbie movie "12 Dancing Princesses." She is driving her poor mom crazy with the movie. Throughout the day Curtis and I find ourselves humming the music and the minute we do Hope starts to dance to it. I think it is time to try to wean her from it :)
Kindergarten is coming.
Good thing Hope is not going because she looks bored all ready.
