SOCCER

Soccer is done for another season and in some ways it is sad to see it end. Micah really enjoys being on a team with his buddies. He is improving more and more each season and he is already hoping that he is on the blue team next year.

Sleepover Pictures

Hope was excited to have a sleep-over with Micah so she decorated her room with streamers. She could not wait to show the final results to her big brother!!

Grade One

Micah is officially in Grade One now and doesn't he look like a million bucks!! He wants to grow his hair but he actually let us trim it up for this big day. He is excited to be sitting with his best buddies, Ethan and Josh. That will probably change pretty soon :) He also has his very own desk!! I cannot believe how fast he is growing up :(

CAMP

We had tons of fun at Green Bay Bible Camp, it was an awesome vacation. Did not have to cook or clean up and our cabin was right at the lake. We hardly saw Micah for he was our running around with the friends he made. Hope made a necklace and both kids painted ceramics. We are really excited to go back next year.

Canada Day

We celebrated Canada Day in a few different ways this year. Prince George always has different things at Fort George Park and we were able to go with some friends (more importantly we convinced Curtis to go). It was lots of fun but REALLY HOT!! Later in the day we went to the Dawson's for a weiner roast. It is cute to see how cute Hope and Alex play together and Micah is so sweet to Sam, now we have to try to teach him to play that way with Hope :) As always, we end the day being startled by the fireworks at 11 pm. I seem to always forget every year and think my house is being bombed, when will I learn.

Micah looked so good I had to add the same picture twice!! He did look good but my summer vacation brain forgot it already placed that picture on the blog and did it again. Being the computer whiz that I am I could not figure out how to get rid of the picture so I just left it, sorry!

Erin's Wedding

Hope, Micah, and I were all involved in Erin's wedding on Saturday. It was a long day (more so for Curtis I think) but all worth it to see how happy Erin is with her new husband. The kids looked like a million bucks!!

Kindergarten Graduation

Micah has officially graduated from kindergarten and we are really proud of him. It is crazy to think that he will be in school everyday next year. Hope and I are going to miss him so much we will feel lost without him around.

Sunday School Picnic/ Soccer Sunday

Today was a crazy but fun day. First we had church then the Sunday School picnic at Fort George Park and then we had the last day of soccer until the fall and to top it all of we went to pick up Uncle Kyle at the airport, Whew. I am tired just writing it all down. We had a wonderful day, however, Micah hurt himself on the bouncy house at soccer so he could not even play on the last day :(

The last picture is not of the day. Ethan slept over and the kids were watching Ant Bully and had to have the Webkinz watch as well. What well loved animals!!

Haircut Day

Today was haircut day!! First, Hope and I went to Cedars to watch the students shave their heads for a student who was receintly diagnosed with luekemia. In about 2 weeks they raised over $9000, WOW!! Hope could not believe Rosie was shaving her head and just kept saying her hair was "Crazy". Our friend and hairdresser was shaving heads at the school so when we went for haircuts after Hope was a wee bit aprehensive. She did not want that type of haircut so their were a few tears but she is really happy with it and loves showing it off! As long as she can still have princess hair she is happy :)

Happy 3rd Birthday Hope!!

Well, our Hope has officially turned 3 and we had a little party to celebrate. What a day it was, I (Sue) ran a half marathon in the morning and then had to get ready for a WILD party after. So, I can say that I was a wee bit tired once the day was all finished. Curtis celebrated 10 years at our church on that day as well. We have a lot to thank God for and we feel so blessed to have such great friends here in P.G. Hope had a great party and Micah resisted the urge to bug all of the girls, way to go Micah!! We thank God for our kids and that He has given us this time with them. We are excited to see what the Lord has in store for our family in the future.
