Hope was getting cabin fever today and wanted to blow bubbles outside. There is still lots of snow but the sun was actually shining today and melted the snow that fell yesterday, yes it is still snowing. I cannot wait to see the snow melt even though that means I have to clean up a long winter of dog poop.

Happy 7th Birthday Micah
Only boys would stick cheesies up their noses and think it is funny.
All of Micah's buddies enjoying a snack after they just ran and ran and ran and ran around our house.
We celebrated Micah's birthday on the weekend and it was a lot of fun. Hope kept saying she was nervous of the boys for all they did when they first arrived was run around the house. I could not imagine having 7 boys all the same age, CRAZY!! We played some games and ate goodies. After the party all Curtis and I could say is how thankful we are that our son has so many good friends. It is a blessing that is forsure!! We are also thankful for the 7 years that God has given us with Micah and look forward to what He has in store for the future.

Vancouver Zoo
We took the kids to the Greater Vancouver Zoo, which was lots of fun. They enjoyed being biked around the Zoo by Mom and Dad (it did not help that when we went up the hill Curtis kept the brake on). The highlight would of have to of been when we watched the lions being fed right in front of us, so cool!!

Micah's Penguin

The Grade One's are learning about Penguins and they made paper mache ones for Science Fair. Mrs. Hochachka is a gifted teacher to be able to get our son to produce some of the work he does. His penguin looks awesome and are proud to see how hard he worked on it. We need to enjoy the days where we do not have to do anything for Science Fair.
Milo

We had my class hamster for the weekend and the kids really enjoyed having him. Milo slept over in each of the kids room and made a huge mess!! Hope loved having Milo for the weekend and was sad to see him go. Needless to say, now the kids want a hamster. Dudley, on the other hand, did NOT like having Milo here and was happy to see him leave.

Are we still here?
Sorry that their have not been any new pictures posted lately, especially for Mom and Dad C. and Auntie Darlene. For one thing, nothing that exciting has really happened for the month of January except for Kyle's visit (and kicking his butt in crib!!). However, the main reason is that our free computer from Telus is on its final days, how sad :( I do have to say that it lasted longer than I expected. Dad, I know that you feel our pain for you have experience computer problems in your day. I have some pictures in snail mail for Auntie and Mom and I hope you enjoy them.
January has felt cold, long, and bleak and we are ready for a break!!

Snow and More Snow
After our HUGE dump of snow the kids and I went outside to play in it and make a snowman and of course a fort. We had lots of fun making the snowman until Dudley stole our carrot nose so we used that snow to help build up our fort. It is crazy how much snow there was and now it is all melting, what fun.

For Grandma Cornfield!
Here are the pictures that you have been asking for, Mom. It is kind of a hodge podge but it shows what the kids were like on Halloween and when we made cookies and of course our little Charlie Brown Christmas tree. We have a larger one but when we set it up today it just did not feel right so we went back to our little one. Also, a picture of Disneyland because we all really really really miss it and want to go back soon. That would be an excellent Christmas present :)

Last Half of Disney

We survived our first trip to Disneyland!!! It was tons of fun and the kids are ready to go back but Curtis needs a break from the crowds :) Micah and I got really wet on the Grizzly ride in California Adventure Park good thing it was 35 out so we dried really really fast. The kids and I are excited to go back sometime in the future.

12 Dancing Princesses
Our little Princess has developed an obsession with the Barbie movie "12 Dancing Princesses." She is driving her poor mom crazy with the movie. Throughout the day Curtis and I find ourselves humming the music and the minute we do Hope starts to dance to it. I think it is time to try to wean her from it :)
Kindergarten is coming.
Good thing Hope is not going because she looks bored all ready.
